      Inspiring  Story of Flowerbloom

Flowers - picked, in pots, colored or not - take up a lot of space in our lives. They accompany us both in moments of joy and sadness. Flowers placed in vases at home or at the workplace lift the mood, brighten the day, and fill spaces with a fresh floral aroma.

Flowers have appeared in my life since childhood. My grandmother was very interested in flowers, she grew many different plants and always tried to grow something new in her garden. Since I spent a lot of time with my grandparents as a child, I became interested in flowers myself. At first I grew cacti, then a number of other indoor plants. Well, just recently I realized that cut seasonal flowers are what I want to see every day, to grow and what brings great joy to both me and those around me. Watching how a small seed turns into a beautiful flower makes me happy and I understand that man and nature can create miracles.

Flowers placed in vases at home or at work can lift your mood, brighten your day, and fill spaces with a fresh floral aroma. Flowers can say more than words can.

Flowerbloom Farm is:

  • A peony collection, which currently includes about 300 different peony varieties and almost 2,000 peony bushes.

  • A dahlia collection, where several thousand dahlias are also grown every year. And the first experiments with dahlia selection are being carried out, which I hope will bring
    encouraging results in the future.

  • A collection of exotic plants, based on ginger plants ( Hedychium sp., Costus sp., Etlingera sp., Zingiber sp .), several different banana species and varieties, and other exotic plants to create the image of a tropical garden.

Mission

To expand the Lithuanian flower farm, to use the available resources in our country, to create jobs.

Values

Ecologically responsible farm activity and development.

Vision

To become a strong market leader in the field of Lithuanian flower farms.

Flowerbloom.lt Flowers grown in Lithuania. Why is this important? One of the reasons why I decided to create such a farm is the benefits to the environment and ecology.

Flowers grown on local flower farms have a much lower environmental impact because they do not need to be transported over long distances. Our farm-grown flowers leave a smaller carbon footprint and do not cause as much transportation-related environmental damage as imported flowers or bulbs.

The flowers we grow contribute to the local economy: choosing flowers grown in Lithuania supports local florists and businesses, which helps maintain the country's agricultural industry and creates jobs.

During the season, you can purchase flower seedlings, flower bulbs, cut flowers (dahlias and peonies during flowering, by prior arrangement), sometimes add to your exotic plant collections, and even purchase Lithuanian watermelons during the season.
